Suspect Maced

As I left a Towson University football game on the evening of September sixth, I was passed once again by several cop cars. I attempted to follow the cars as they passed me one by one, however, traffic was very heavy and made it difficult to pass other cars. Eventually I lost sight of all of the cop cars. By this time I was up by Northern Parkway. I stopped for a few minutes and just sat and listened. I could hear more cop cars headed my way but they weren't passing me. I turned around and finally found them about a half mile back in the parking lot of a shopping center. By the time I got there a suspect was circled by cop cars and had already been doused with pepper spray and arrested. The ambulance pulled up about three minutes after I arrived.

Apparently the suspect had allegedly robbed a Giant food store on York Road and proceeded to flee. A good citizen happened to flag down a passing cop and the suspect was almost immediately apprehended.

According to a Fortunato's employee, the same suspect allegedly stole a tip jar from the Italian restaurant a week earlier. The suspect was transported to a nearby hospital and will most likely be charged with shoplifting.
